Large entrance way led directly to a reception desk with alert and welcoming staff who took care of our registration in a warm, friendly, and efficient manner. Room was clean, well-lit; the bathroom was nicely furnished with plenty of towels and hot water. We heard the were going to start re-doing all the rooms and I think that is a good idea. It was clean enough but outdated. The halls smelled so bad like overuse of carpet fresh it made me wonder what they were trying to cover up. The pool was way too cold and I did not feel heated was a word I would have used. The hotel was not a three star quality, but probably a 2.5 star hotel. It was equivalent to the other 2.5 star hotels we stayed at during our trip, but was not equivalent to the 3 star hotels.

The hotel was nice and clean. The service was fantastic! The staff was very helpful and friendly. The location of the hotel was not the best.. and was not really walking distance to downtown falmouth and the beaches. It was near a busy road that was close to bigger stores (i.e wal-mart, shaws, t.j maxx, etc) but the quaint cape cod feel was further away then I would have liked. Also, the beds ruined our experience at the hotel. They were as hard as a rock, and I didn't sleep through the night once during my 3 night stay.
